Annnnnd We're Back!

• The phrase "We are beginning our descent into San Diego" will never really get old for me, however, "Welcome to London" is a pretty close second.
• 75 degree San Diego weather as seen in the above picture is an excellent tool to use when discussing your 'winter break.'  It makes people jealous and also further convinces them of the superiority of your home town to theirs.  Unless that place is Rio de Janeiro.  In which case, don't even try.
• Quality family time is an often undervalued part of the Christmas season.  It can make you even more grateful for the support system (and loving adoration) that family offers.  I enjoyed every single minute of it.
• Coming back to London in time for New Year's Eve was an excellent decision.  Getting table service at the club around the corner from my apartment was also an excellent decision.  Spending almost 10 hours in new high heels?  Not so much.  Only for you New Year's.  Only for you.
