Mini Splendas and Other Life-changing Discoveries

  • In a magical world, far, far away, someone has created Splenda Minis.  These small little tabs are the equivalent of one package of regular Splenda.  AND they sell them in a precious little dispenser.  This may or may not have been the most exciting discovery of my day yesterday.
  • The least exciting, albeit similarly life-changing, discovery was of British Cottage Cheese.  Don't be fooled.  Someone has lied to these poor British folk and told them that a gloppy, curdled  yogurt-like substance is cottage cheese.  This is a travesty.
  • Air mail stamps are expensive.  It's as if the post office WANTS you to give up traditional mail services in favor of technology.  But do not let that deter you!  I accept postcards, letters and packages alike.
  • Getting asked directions by a cute old couple because you look like you belong here is a really nice feeling.

  1. Do you ever worry that being surprised by Splenda casings is a sign that you are using too much Splenda. Maybe you should try this new product, called real sugar - it also comes in block form. You should go the Globe while you are there - true story that's where I learned there was brown sugar, that was regular sugar, just brown.
