Squeezy Salsa

  • You can't really appreciate how good you've got it until it's gone.  Case in point: salsa.  It is sold in squeeze bottles.  Like ketchup.  Imagine how delicious that must taste. Mmmmm.  If you note to the right of squeezy salsa is its buddy, squeezy guac.  I miss Fidels already.
  • Eggs in stores are not refrigerated here.  I'm not sure how this works.  Are Americans wimpy about their egg temperature?  Do Brits have a higher tolerance for food poisoning?  Oddly, there is still a little rack in my mini-fridge  for eggs.  The fridge is the size of a sheet of notebook paper but it has its spot for eggs.  Confounding.
  • Movie recommendation: Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy.  It features my very own Mr. Darcy, Colin Firth, as well Gary Oldman and Tom Hardy.  Really slow at the beginning but it picks up.  This would have been a Scott Tillson favorite for sure.  He would have illegally downloaded it immediately.
  • Registration today!  It will feel good to officially be a student at LSE.  Might even buy myself a t-shirt.
